Delivery Contractor for Durable Medical Equipment 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Harvey, LA Job description for Delivery contractors Still Me Inc/Fitting Designs Delivery Contractors are individuals motivated with entrepreneurial drive and exceptional communication skills to serve as independent contractors. We are seeking qualified candidates to conduct in-home trials of the Lympha Press Pneumatic Pump and to instruct patients on how to use the pump for treatment of their lymphedema. Candidates must be comfortable going into patients’ homes. Genuine patient care is a must. This position is a PRN position. Delivery days and times are flexible according to your and the patient’s schedule. This position requires travel from Gretna, Westwego, Marrero, Harvey, Louisiana and the surrounding cities within 1 and a half hours away. Punctuality, reliability, communication, positive customer service skills, and accountability are a must for this position. Delivery contractors are 1099 independent contractors and will be paid month at a rate of $75 per completed trial and submission of trial paperwork. You can keep your receipts and track your mileage for your own personal tax benefits. A trial visit takes anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your preparation and the patient’s needs. At times, there will be a need for an in-home delivery and set up of the pump in the patient’s home. This will also take 30 minutes to 1 hour and will be paid at a rate of $75.00 per completed delivery and receipt of delivery paperwork. You must have a reliable vehicle, driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, patient care background, a flexible schedule, and pass a background check. Training will be provided, and you will be paid $75.00 for completing training. All equipment and trial supplies are provided by Still Me Inc.
