KenCrest’s Community Connection Coach uses the power of human connection to build a better community for our individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. These unique, part-time Direct Support Professional positions require a few hours a week – but that time can make a huge impact on someone’s life!
As a Community Connection Coach, you will serve as both a caregiver and life coach to promote independence by assisting individuals with life skills (cooking, household chores, using public transportation), encourage individuals to participate i within their community and social settings, and provide transportation as needed to activities within the community (trips to the local library, the local park, the grocery store, or even a local sports game!).

• Employees must use their personal vehicle to transport individuals!
• Required for Employment
  Valid driver’s license, acceptable motor vehicle record, and access to a personal vehicle, required for role
• Employees must use their personal vehicle to transport individuals!
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent, preferred
  One (1) year of experience in supporting individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities, preferred
  Clear criminal record, background checks and drug test in accordance with state requirements
  Ability to convey, understand and follow spoken and written instructions in English
