out of 5 stars 1 Fedex Way, Humboldt, TN 38343 Overview The FedEx BC position is integral to our operations, focusing on ensuring the efficient handling and processing of packages. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to maintaining high standards of service. As a FedEx BC, you will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the overall success of our logistics and delivery services. Responsibilities Make sure all paperwork is picked up every morning by assistant manager, if not, get paperwork and bring to office. Delivery disputes, 85s. DRO Scheduling Make sure all freight is off belt and on trucks to be delivered each morning. Route planning for best productivity. Lytx write ups Review cameras daily, on a regular basis, to make sure that drivers are following all rules. Watch the board.. Assign drivers in beans. Conduct interviews and driver evaluations. Check beans to make sure everything on a driver’s route goes to them. Check engine oil and conduct monthly maintenance. Asset tracking. Check worksheet, codes and pick up windows(make sure they are done on time). Disburse call tags and appointment window paperwork to correct WA. Fill in routes, as needed. Help drivers when they call in with miss plots, codes, locations. Make sure all packages are off trucks at the end of the day and batteries are being charged. Train new drivers, when needed(if multiple new drivers start at once). Train assistant managers on how to do paperwork, 85s, watching the board, etc. Skills Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Basic problem-solving skills for troubleshooting operational issues. Familiarity with package handling equipment is a plus. Good physical stamina, capable of lifting heavy packages as needed.
