If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Join the YMCA as a Mobile Fit Summer Instructor and make a difference in the lives of children and teens in your community. Enjoy a flexible summer job with shifts Monday – Friday from 10:30am-3:30pm….no holidays or weekends! We are seeking someone fluent in both Spanish and English.
Responsibilities:
Pick up and transport food and supplies from Food & Fun kitchen to various sites Ensure the safety and supervision of children at all times Provide 30 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity and serve prepared meals at each site visit Attend staff meetings and required trainings Maintain timely and accurate documentation Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must be 17 years of age or older A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required Prior experience working with diverse populations of children/youth preferred
Physical Demands:
Sufficient agility and mobility to perform essential functions of the job Ability to participate in activities in a variety of indoor and outdoor settings and various temperatures
Training:
CPR, First Aid & AED required within the first 30 days of employment New Employee Orientation required within the first week of employment Child & Adult Food Care Program (CFCP/SFSP) Certification required within the first week of hire
