Additional company information can be found at www.interrail-transport.com. Starting Pay is $19 per hour. Additional increases available when certifications have been issued. We are currently have openings in our Switching department as engineers and conductors at our facility in Talladega, AL. We are looking for motivated, safety minded individuals to join our team. The position requires working outdoors in all weather environments, working in uneven terrain and climbing ladders/equipment. Employees must follow all IRT and FRA safety guidelines and rules. Individuals will learn how to safely operate locomotives and switching protocols. This is a highly physical job with extensive walking and long periods of time on your feet. We currently operate on 2-12 hours shifts running from 8am-8pm and 8pm-8am. We operate 7 days a week in which we have a rotating schedule where you will get 2 days off. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, no DUI’s in the past 3 years, no felonies in the past 7 years and be able to pass a pre-employment drug test which is given on-site. We also perform random drug testing per company requirements.
