Job Summary:
We’re looking for a reliable, energetic Deck Hand to join our crew! As a key part of the Cruise Cocoa experience, you’ll assist the captain, support guest safety and comfort, and help keep our vessel shipshape. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves working on the water, enjoys meeting new people, and doesn’t mind getting a little salty.
Responsibilities:
Assist with docking, anchoring, and general boat operations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deck and guest areas Provide friendly and helpful service to all passengers Support safety protocols and emergency procedures Help set up and break down for events or cruises Monitor and report any maintenance issues to the captain Assist with loading/unloading supplies and guests as needed
Qualifications:
Previous boating experience preferred but not required Must Be able to pass a drug test- and maintain for random testing Must be comfortable working outdoors and on the water Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented CPR/First Aid certification a plus (or willing to obtain) Must be at least 18 years old
Schedule & Hours:
20 to 30 hours per week Must be available for weekends, holidays, and some evenings
