Position Summary:

We’re looking for a service-minded, hands-on Member Experience Manager to lead daily dock operations and ensure our members enjoy seamless, stress-free boating adventures. This is a high-accountability, fast-paced role that blends customer service and operational oversight. This is a seasonal position with flexible hours and schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Experience:

Greet members with warmth and professionalism, assist with float plans, and ensure each interaction leaves a lasting positive impression.

Boarding & Gear Assistance:

Help members carry their gear, load supplies, and safely board their vessels with attention to comfort and safety.

Boat Operations:

Confidently operate a variety of powerboats, assist with boat launches and returns, and coach members on proper boat handling and safety.

Fleet Maintenance:

Ensure boats are clean, fueled, and ready for member use. Coordinate with maintenance and service providers when needed.

Time & Task Management:

Own your schedule, prioritize responsibilities, and respond dynamically to the needs of the day.

What We’re Looking For:

2+ years in a customer-facing role in the service or hospitality industry (hospitality, restaurants, resorts, recreation, marinas, or retail) Proven ability to create exceptional guest/member experiences in high-touch environments Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• you know how to make people feel welcome and heard Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
• able to stay calm, helpful, and professional under pressure Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills
• you get things done without needing to be micromanaged A genuine passion for delivering exceptional member service Ability to safely operate boats preferred but not required (training available) Willingness to perform hands-on tasks like boat cleaning, lifting gear, and assisting with member needs Must be available to work some weekends and holidays Why Join Freedom Boat Club?
