Are you confident behind the wheel of a pontoon boat and skilled in docking, navigating, and ensuring smooth waters for everyone onboard? We’re looking for a reliable, experienced First Mate to assist with family outings, business fishing trips, and weekend adventures on the lake. ⚓
What We’re Looking For:
Extensive knowledge of Lake Murray, including channels, coves, boat landings, and hot spots Proven experience driving and parking pontoon boats safely and confidently Ability to navigate in varying weather and traffic conditions
Bonus:
Background in Lake Murray fishing or as a guide is a big plus Must be on-call and flexible — especially on weekends, holidays, and during lake events Punctual, respectful, and able to work around families, clients, and guests 🐟
Duties Include:
Acting as designated driver and first mate during boat outings Ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times Assisting with docking, anchor setup, and general trip coordination Providing local insight about the lake to guests and passengers Helping with gear, coolers, and post-trip clean-up if needed 💵
