Delivery Driver/Installer Burneys Mean Greenz LLC Birmingham, AL 35214 Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires strong driving skills, a good understanding of route navigation, and the ability to handle various types of vehicles, including box trucks and vans. Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Navigate assigned routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries. Load and unload goods using a pallet jack or manually as required. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and delivery confirmations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse staff regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit. Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients upon delivery. Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is preferred. Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Physical ability to lift heavy items and perform moving tasks as needed. Previous experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
