In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery, setup, and maintenance of medical equipment in various healthcare settings. Your expertise will ensure that patients receive the necessary equipment to enhance their quality of life while providing exceptional customer service. Duties Deliver and set up durable medical equipment (DME) at patient locations, ensuring proper installation and functionality. Educate patients and caregivers on the safe use and maintenance of medical equipment. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess patient needs and recommend appropriate equipment solutions. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, equipment usage, and service history. Load and unload equipment from a box truck or other vehicles, ensuring safe handling during transport. Drive routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Skills Proven experience in customer service, with strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare staff. Ability to drive commercial vehicles, including box trucks, with proficiency in both manual transmission and automatic vehicles. Experience in route driving or courier services is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills to manage delivery schedules and maintain accurate records. Capability to lift and move heavy equipment safely as required by the job duties. A background in moving or logistics can be advantageous for this position.
