Job Description
FedEx Delivery Driver – Full & Part Time Buckboard Delivery 40 Kennedy Rd, South Windsor, CT 06074 Openings for Weekday, Weekend and On Call Delivery Drivers for the South Windsor, CT area. Previous experience at Amazon, UPS, FedEx, or DHL is a plus!
PAY:
Starting $170-200/day Daily Stop Threshold Bonuses Health Benefits 401K Paid Time Off Paid each Friday Uniforms Provided
FEDEX TERMINAL LOCATION
40 Kennedy Rd, South Windsor, CT. 06074
SCHEDULE:
Start time is 8am, shift goes through delivery completion (typically somewhere between 4pm-6pm).
POSITION REQUIREMENTS CDL
not required 1+ year(s) of verifiable driving history in the last 3 years with FedEx, UPS, or other delivery services preferred. Lyft, Uber, and food delivery or other experience driving a company vehicle of at least 1 year will be considered (Must be able to be verified). Handling and maneuvering up to 150lb boxes (with and without hand trucks or dollies) The vehicle we provide could be one of the following: a transit van up to one of our larger step van trucks (P700 & P1000). Clean Motor Vehicle Record without excessive speeding tickets, reckless driving etc. Consent to a state/federal and MVR background check. Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license. Consent to a drug test and DOT Physical exam (paid for by employer) and random screening throughout employment. Keep the delivery vehicle clean and in good operating/cosmetic condition. Follow all FedEx and DOT regulations and safety standards.
