Our Delivery Associates are the face of Northeast Building & Home representing the company to customers while delivering at Homes and Job sites, On-Time & In-Full. Our Delivery Associates provide elevated service to our customers that reflects the premium products they are delivering. They make decisions that increase efficiency while never compromising on the Safety of people, product and property. Responsibilities specific to the
Delivery Associate:
Provide exceptional customer service over the phone and at delivery locations. Call customers to provide delivery ETAs and updates. Build positive relationships with customers and communities. Safely load and unload windows, doors, and millwork for delivery by hand to prevent injury or damage. Walk the delivery site before unloading to confirm the safety of the terrain, travel path and unload location. Ensure deliveries are completed injury free and without damage to product, property, or equipment. Confirm all delivery details using the Run Sheet, Customer Invoices or Transfer documents. These details include the correct delivery address, correct product and payment in-full. Every Run is provided with a cellular phone and a delivery app that includes GPS route guidance, GPS tracking, and delivery confirmations. Ensure photos are uploaded once product is delivered and deliveries are marked as delivered in the app. Unload vendor delivery vehicles and assist in the organization and storage of customer special order and stock products. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the window warehouse, including labeling each item with customer name, PO number and date. Responsibilities of every
Associate:
Enthusiasm to greet customers anywhere on company property or job sites. Maintain a positive, productive work environment through friendly, respectful relationships with customers & co-workers. Execution of daily operational duties including: product organization, store and warehouse cleanliness and inventory cycle counts. Keep all machinery, equipment, and tools clean and in good working order for safe usage. Report all issues regarding safety, waste, damage, equipment, accidents or customer concerns promptly to a member of Management. Inform Inventory Control Manager promptly of suspected inventory shortage.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Must be able to safely operate equipment in all types of weather conditions. Able to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs. alone or use team lift techniques if greater than 50 lbs. Able to stand and move throughout the entire property or job sites for up to 8 hours Work under extreme heat or cold weather conditions. Work safely around moving trucks and moving machinery/equipment Work a flexible schedule that includes weekends. Ability to write, read, and communicate in
