Automotive Parts Delivery Driver Grieco Ford of Branford 301 East Main Street, Branford, CT 06405 Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Parts Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting parts and materials to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. As a Parts Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our operations. Duties Drive vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to deliver parts and materials to designated locations. Load and unload items using pallet jacks and other equipment as necessary. Ensure that all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule. Perform route driving efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure safety and proper maintenance. Handle heavy lifting of parts and materials as required during loading and unloading processes. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any issues encountered during transport. Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Experience driving manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Familiarity with route driving and delivery driver responsibilities. Ability to operate a pallet jack and perform heavy lifting tasks (up to 50 pounds). Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing delivery schedules. Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and clients. Previous experience as a van driver or in a similar delivery role is a plus.
