Delivery Driver Marco’s Pizza #8140 3600 North Wickham Road, Melbourne, FL 32935 Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer service, possess excellent driving skills, and be comfortable handling heavy lifting and operating different types of vehicles. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and manual transmission vehicles. Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries. Load and unload products using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manually as needed. Provide exceptional customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Assist in warehouse duties when not on delivery routes, including inventory management and organization. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Qualifications Proven experience in route driving or commercial driving preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required during loading and unloading processes. Familiarity with warehouse operations is advantageous. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required. Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided.
