Full Job Description Job Title:

Delivery Driver Looking for big hearted folks who are looking for a chance to give back to their community, especially our senior population, by delivering weekly meal kits on their behalf.

Must:

• pass a background check
• submit to being fingerprinted
• provide their own vehicle with insurance coverage
• be willing to drive to clients in any corner of Broward County
• be willing to pick up meals from one or more of our locations located in Hollywood, Weston, or Lighthouse Point Florida
• have a working Smart Phone This work is with the Offerdahl’s Hand-Off Foundation which is a Non-Profit Organization. Wages
• $20.00/hourly We will provide:
• thermal blankets to keep the meals cold during transportation.
• A food thermometer.
• Delivery Manual
• Packets of necessary documents
• Clip-Board and Pen(s)ob

Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for transporting goods to customers in a safe and timely manner. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and a customer-oriented attitude.

Duties:

• Safely and efficiently operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
• Load and unload merchandise from the vehicle
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as checking oil, water, fuel, and tire pressure
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
• Maintain delivery records accurately

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role
• Familiarity with route driving and navigation
• Ability to drive both manual transmission vehicles
• Strong customer service skills
• Capable of heavy lifting when loading/unloading goods
• Experience with pallet jacks is a plus
• Knowledge of refrigerated trailer operations preferred
