Delivery Driver Fort Lauderdale Florida Couriers Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312 Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will interact with clients during deliveries. A strong understanding of vehicle operation, including box trucks and manual transmission, is essential for success in this position. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and forklifts, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items from the vehicle using pallet jacks and other equipment as necessary. Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip. Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients at delivery sites. Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Assist in warehouse operations when not on delivery routes, including organizing inventory and managing stock levels. Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience preferred. Experience operating box trucks and familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Ability to use pallet jacks and forklifts safely and effectively. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Previous experience in moving or courier services is advantageous. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
