The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and loading/unloading tasks. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Assist in moving items as needed during deliveries, ensuring proper handling of products. Skills Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
