Jacksonville, FL We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join us! You will pick up packages from the dispatch location, scan the correspondent assigned route and deliver them accordingly. You will become our face towards the customers providing excellent customer service and adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. We provide training, delivery tools and further information to achieve and provide great customer service experience. As part of the daily responsibilities but not limited to:

• On-call assistance to the designated dispatch location in a timely manner
• Prepare, scan and sort the assigned route for the proper delivery
• Ability to handle the sorting, carrying, lifting, driving, walking, as a result of physical workload.
• Review addresses before and during dispatch to have a more smooth and accurate delivery.
• Comply with the assigned routes and follow time determined for the delivery.
• Friendly and professional customer service and communicate accurately in a promptly and effectively manner.
• Complete proof of delivery. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including pictures, references and any issues encountered.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in regards to reporting.
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
• Use GPS systems and maps to navigate efficiently.
• Ensure the security of goods during transit and at delivery locations.
• Participate in safety training sessions and adhere to safety standards at all times.
• Communicate with team members regarding delivery status, delays, or any other relevant information.

Use communication devices in accordance with company policies.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred.
• Reliable vehicle/transportation for delivery purposes.
• Ability to operate delivery vehicles, such as vans or trucks. (if needed)
• Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation apps.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items, up to 40 pounds
• Dependable and punctual with a professional demeanor.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
• Extended periods of driving, physical activity, hop on/hop off constantly.
