The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks. The Delivery Driver will operate box trucks, vans, or other commercial vehicles, and must be comfortable with both manual and automatic transmissions. Duties Safely operate box trucks or vans to deliver products to designated locations. Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling of items to prevent damage. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks before and after trips. Maintain accurate delivery records, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Experience Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred but not required. Familiarity with operating box trucks, vans, or other commercial vehicles is advantageous. Experience with manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Strong customer service skills are essential for interacting with clients during deliveries. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required by the job duties. Forklift experience is a nice-to-have skill that can enhance efficiency in warehouse operations.
