The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to operate different types of vehicles, including box trucks and vans. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload goods from the vehicle using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks. Plan delivery routes efficiently to ensure timely arrival at destinations. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking shipments and obtaining necessary signatures. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization. Qualifications Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is a plus. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Capability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading deliveries. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is an advantage. Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns is beneficial.
