Role:

As a Driver’s Aide at Classic Metals Suppliers you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient transportation of materials and products. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the driver in loading, unloading, and securing cargo, which is vital for maintaining the flow of operations. You will also be responsible for conducting pre-trip inspections to ensure that all safety protocols are followed, contributing to a safe working environment. Additionally, you will assist the driver in navigating routes ensuring the safety of the cargo. Ultimately, your efforts will directly impact the productivity and success of our delivery processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar role within the manufacturing or logistics industry. Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in transportation.

Responsibilities:

Assist the driver in loading and unloading materials and products from the vehicle. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Help in securing cargo to prevent damage during transit. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and assist in route planning. Communicate effectively with the driver and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
