The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting arrangements to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate different types of vehicles, including vans and box trucks. Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Quick learner and ability to focus on specific tasks, detail oriented Maintenance of flower arrangements at properties and a problem solver Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability. Maintain accurate delivery logs, documenting time of delivery, mileage, and any issues encountered during transport. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients upon delivery and addressing any concerns or questions. Navigate efficiently to various delivery locations using GPS or maps while adhering to scheduled delivery times. Assist in the training of new drivers as needed, sharing knowledge of best practices for safe driving and customer interaction. Qualifications Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission is a plus. Ability to operate commercial vehicles, including box trucks and vans; experience with courier services is advantageous. Strong physical stamina to handle heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and perform manual tasks associated with loading/unloading cargo. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns is beneficial. Ability to work independently while demonstrating strong time management skills.
