The ideal candidate will be responsible for picking up and transporting donations and be part of our topnotch delivery services. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting as part of the daily responsibilities. Duties Safely operate delivery vehicle to transport donations and purchases to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling of products to prevent damage. Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly. Provide exceptional customer service during pick ups and deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from donors and customers. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues to ensure safety compliance. Duties will include moving & rearranging furniture on our sales floor, organization projects, light maintenance projects and other duties as assigned by the Manager on duty. Follow all traffic laws and comply with all company policies while driving and working with staff, customers and our donors. Skills Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Ability to perform heavy lifting and move items safely. Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is a plus. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is advantageous. Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
