The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivery small packages to our customers efficiently and safely to various locations. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver 100-150 packages per day. $1.50 per package delivered. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through timely deliveries. This a 1099 opportunit, you need to use your own car. (We have consistent work for out drivers). Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Qualifications Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred. Experience as a delivery driver or courier is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the day. Familiarity with operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar equipment is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing delivery schedules. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed based on delivery demands.
