In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. The ideal candidate will have experience driving box trucks and be comfortable with route driving, loading and unloading cargo, and operating warehouse equipment. Duties Drive a box truck to deliver products to designated locations efficiently and safely. Load and unload goods from the vehicle using a pallet jack or forklift as needed. Follow assigned delivery routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time, maintaining high customer satisfaction. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and management regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. Qualifications Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving a box truck is preferred. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Experience with loading and unloading cargo in a warehouse or delivery setting. Familiarity with route driving and navigating local areas efficiently. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) as required during deliveries. Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
