DELIVERY

Busy West Palm Beach print and sign production company needs a bright, enthusiastic delivery person to pick up and deliver customer orders and production supplies. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are mandatory. Knowledge of roads and traffic patterns in Palm Beach and Broward Counties preferred.

SIGN INSTALLATION

Independently perform site surveys in advance of sign installation projects by taking accurate measurements and clear photos of installation locations. Assist the install team with light sign installation projects, including applying window/wall vinyl, mounting channel lettering and installing sign posts. Skilled with the use of hand tools. BINDERY Help the bindery team put the finishing touches on commercial print projects. Ability to work quickly with your hands to accomplish bindery tasks, such as envelope stuffing and staple booklet binding. HOURS Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm. No weekends or holidays.

Primary Responsibility:

Coordinate with the production team to schedule daily deliveries and pick-ups. Represent the company as the main point of in-person contact with customers by presenting a competent and personable image. Skilled and comfortable driving a medium sized delivery van. Drive vehicle to and from destinations, adhering to all traffic laws in a variety of weather and traffic conditions. Load and unload delivery goods. Maintain vehicle in good working, clean and fueled readiness condition. Inform supervisor of any vehicle problems. Accurately measure sign installation sites based on the type of sign(s) being produced and the surface type on which it is being applied. Take clear photos of installation locations from multiple angles. Install independently or with a team signs of various materials, from wall and vehicle vinyls, window and door applications, banners, wall-mounted letters and logos, and 4×4 wooden post signs.

Other Responsibilities:

Follow systems and procedures of the company. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Comply with all OSHA safety requirements. All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience:

Familiar with surrounding area and be able to read a map/guide. Requires knowledge of vehicle maintenance and operation. Possess a valid driver’s license and a good motor vehicle record. Must be hard working and self-motivated. Must have excellent verbal and communication skills.

Working Environment:

Work is conducted both indoors and out, including driving to meet with customers and prospects. Up to several hours per day may be spent operating a motor vehicle. Appearance at all times must represent the company image. Noise level is usually moderate. Lifting of up to 50 lbs. Exposure to the environments of customer facilities.
