Job Summary:
The Delivery Driver will move parts, goods, and other merchandise from one location to another. This position will regularly be assigned warehouse duties as described below.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None Duties/Responsibilities:
Plans and completes an efficient delivery and pick-up route for the day Loads delivery vehicle with parcels scheduled for delivery Delivers parcels to correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt when necessary Picks up parcels along the scheduled route, including items to be returned, company orders, and other items as requested Maintains basic records of truck mileage and deliveries made Ensures that the delivery vehicle receives basic maintenance according to the schedule; reports any larger service needs or mechanical issues to the supervisor Obtain and process product orders, including receiving deliveries, registering them, and distributing merchandise and equipment within the warehouse Load and unload trucks, breakdown, sort, and restack product, lifting items as necessary, occasionally operating forklifts and pallet jacks for large goods Regular use of basic hand tools, straps, and box cutters Trouble shoots shipping issues and customer complaints that arise, and works to solve them Pull orders using RF scanners, ensuring the orders are correct, and load the trucks before the cutoff time Perform daily housekeeping

Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to drive safely Ability to operate Large box trucks, forklifts, and other heavy machinery Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps Ability to plan delivery routes Ability to maintain basic logs and records Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision Able to remain professional and courteous at all times
Preferred Skills/Abilities:
Forklift certification or experience is a plus Knowledge of HVAC products is a plus A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
