The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate efficiently through assigned routes. The Delivery Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction by delivering products in excellent condition and on time. Responsibilities Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products using a pallet jack and other equipment as necessary. Follow assigned routes and schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any potential issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. Assist in warehouse operations when not on the road, including organizing inventory and preparing shipments. Skills Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Strong driving skills with experience operating commercial vehicles, including manual transmission vehicles. Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems to ensure efficient deliveries. Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physical tasks associated with moving goods. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is essential.
