DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operates a company owned delivery vehicle on established or alternate route as scheduled. Delivering products in the most time-efficient safe manner and collecting signed delivery tickets. Performs pre and post truck inspections daily. Maintains the condition of the delivery truck including gas and keeping it clean. Ensures compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures. Adheres to all traffic rules and DOT regulations. Must be punctual and stringent about timings and make no delays in deliveries. Must be prepared to work in any traffic pattern, severe weather and strict deadlines according to our business needs. Will provide professional and courteous service to our customers and their staff at all times. When not on the road, associate will be responsible for pulling orders and helping to clean and maintain the warehouse. Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have a High School diploma or equivalent. CDL B Preferred. 2 or more years driving experience preferred. Must have clean driving record. Must be able to pass a drug and background test. Must have excellent communication and customer service skills. Must be able to work independently, be responsible for route, and work unsupervised 90% of the time. Must have a clear understanding of the importance of meeting deadlines and commitments. Must be able to performance basic math operations to include addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Must have the ability to communicate in English to be able to communicate with customers. Candidates will be subject to all DOT pre-hire requirements
