As a Pickup and Delivery Driver providing services to FedEx, you will play a crucial role in contributing to our indomitable spirit and commitment to service within the logistics operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle, specifically a step van or similar, to transport packages to and from assigned destinations.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure a secure and efficient delivery process.
• Maintain accurate and detailed delivery records.
• Provide excellent customer service during package drop-offs and pick-ups.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and ensure maintenance requirements are met.

Requirements:

• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• Must possess the ability to drive a step van or similar vehicle, and experience in the capacity as a driver, doing deliveries on that type of vehicle is preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 150 pounds.
• Active and valid medical examiner certificate (preferred).
• Completion of the FedEx required road test and safety training (preferred).

Note:

While prior experience, a valid medical examiner certificate, and completion of FedEx training are preferred, they are not required. The ability to drive a step van IS required and any offer for employment is contingent upon successfully attaining the aforementioned certificates and completing a background check and drug test.
