In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading and unloading deliveries. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring all items are secured and protected during transit. Follow assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any discrepancies. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise. Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition before each shift. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization. Experience Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a related role is preferred. Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems is beneficial. Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for loading and unloading deliveries. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing delivery schedules. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
