The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to navigate routes effectively. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through timely deliveries. Duties Operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations. Execute route driving efficiently to deliver packages to designated locations. Load and unload goods using equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary. Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any potential issues. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and proper functioning of the delivery vehicle. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns professionally. Experience Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Experience with route driving and knowledge of local roadways is advantageous. Background in warehouse operations or moving services can be beneficial. Ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate delivery records.
