The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting Steel / Aluminum to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle various driving tasks, including loading and unloading as well strapping down the loads, checking your vehicle and trailer daily. Duties Must be able to drive a stick shift truck Safely operate delivery vehicles, including F650 flat bed and trailer, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary. Ensure all deliveries are made on time while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and delivery confirmations. Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Report any vehicle issues or accidents immediately to management. Qualifications Previous experience as a courier or van driver is preferred. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety practices is essential. Experience in warehouse operations, including loading and unloading items, is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment is desirable but not mandatory. Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
