Summary:
As a Delivery Driver & Production Associate, you will be essential in delivering boxed-up orders to Wholesale customers throughout Georgia and to parts of Florida. A company vehicle is provided for the delivery of orders, and each week will consist of 30
- 40 hours of work.
Must be able to lift packages that are 25+ lbs and possess a Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
Duties:
- Assist in the production and packaging of coffee based products.
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods from the warehouse to various locations
- Load and unload products using pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment as necessary
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Verify the contents of each delivery against shipping documents and obtain signatures from customers upon receipt
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
- Report any vehicle maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed
Experience:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role (preferred)
- Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles (preferred)
- Ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in verifying deliveries
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading
