Delivery Driver Savannah Distributing C 2425 Gwinnett Street West, Savannah, GA 31415
SUMMARY:
Join the team at Savannah Distributing as a Non-CDL Delivery Driver and play a critical role in ensuring our products are safely and efficiently delivered to customers. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and representing our company in a professional manner. No CDL is required for this position. Drive local and surrounding areas; home every night and off on weekends. Base Pay + Commission paid on a biweekly basis; Quarterly Safety Bonus; Annual Retention Bonus beginning after 2 years of Service
MUST PASS DRUG SCREEN, BACKGROUND AND PHYSICAL KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely transport products to each designated stop on assigned route Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicle Pick up returns and necessary documentation for processing Collect payments from customers Complete all required logs and reports Adhere to company safety standards at all times Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Positive attitude and strong work ethic Basic understanding of general safety principles Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to pass a driver physical exam and maintain a clean driving record Ability to drive a 26ft box truck Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Pass pre-employment and random drug screens Ability to follow all state and federal laws while driving Basic mathematical skills Dependable with excellent time management skills Excellent communication skills for creating positive customer experiences
WORKING CONDITIONS
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions Frequently required to reach, bend, stoop, and lift 15-30 pounds, and occasionally lift 60+ pounds
