The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle various types of vehicles, including box trucks and vans. Duties Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload products using equipment such as dollys, ensuring safe handling of goods. Navigate routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and delivery confirmations. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability before each trip. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including organizing packages and preparing shipments. Skills Experience with commercial driving, particularly with box trucks or vans. Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients during deliveries. Ability to perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading heavy items. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes is beneficial. Excellent time management skills to ensure punctual deliveries.
