- Position Summary
- Under the direction of the Rental Manager, our Truck Driver will safety move trucks between sites.
- Essential Functions of the Job
- + Fully understand how to operate and safely drive assigned vehicle + Drive trucks with a Gross Vehicle Weight over 26,000 + Obtain signatures to confirm and complete truck deliveries + Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to each trip + Maintain vehicle as needed (e.
g. refuel, tire pressure, etc.) + Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs + Track and report working hours + Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditions + Comply with DOT regulators + Make safety a priority at all times
- Knowledge, Skills and, Abilities (KSA’s)
- + Class B CDL with air brakes and tank endorsements + TWIC card or the ability to obtain a TWIC card + Clean driving record and maintain compliance with authorized drivers policy
- Education and Experience
- + High School Diploma or GED + Minimum five (5) years, verifiable experience maintaining a CDL
- Working Conditions
- + Ability to sit for long periods of time.
