The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to navigate various routes while adhering to safety regulations. Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, ensuring timely deliveries to customers. Load and unload products using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring all items are secured properly for transport. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation, including tracking shipments and reporting any discrepancies. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries and addressing any concerns or inquiries. Navigate efficiently using GPS systems or maps, ensuring adherence to scheduled delivery times. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including moving inventory and organizing stock. Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is preferred. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Previous experience in delivery driving, courier services, or related fields is advantageous. Familiarity with warehouse operations, including loading/unloading procedures and equipment usage (pallet jack, forklift). Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Physical stamina to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform manual tasks throughout the day.
