Job Description
Appliance Installer/Delivery Driver A&D Delivery Ellenwood, GA 30294 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Delivery Driver and helpers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering products efficiently while operating a 26 foot box truck and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of appliances, including washer and dryers, and the ability to follow instructions. As a Delivery Driver or helper, you will be the face of our company, providing excellent customer service while managing the delivery of various equipment, including refrigerators and stoves. Safety and customer service is our number one priority. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport products to designated locations. Assemble and deliver appliances and install equipment as required. Read and interpret instructions to ensure proper installation and functionality of delivered items. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns during deliveries. Perform basic equipment repairs when necessary and ensure all equipment is in good working order before delivery. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time, location, and condition of items delivered. Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure timely loading and unloading of products. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road. Qualifications Be able to operate a 26 foot non CDL box truck Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliances is highly desirable. Ability to read, write and operate a cell phone and understand electrical components related to delivery items. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with delivery duties. Familiarity with delivery operations is a plus.
