Delivery Driver:

Requirements of Delivery Driver:

Must be at least 21 years old. Must have a valid driver’s license within the state of employment. Must be able to move boxes up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to move boxes up to 70 lbs. using material handling equipment (MHE) or up to 300 pounds as part of a delivery team (driver + helper). Commercial, DOT, CDL (or work-related) driving experience is a plus, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently drive delivery vehicles to transport packages to customers’ locations.
• Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling and secure transportation.
• Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely deliveries.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Utilize communication skills to coordinate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery updates.
• Perform heavy lifting as needed to move packages and goods.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating delivery vehicles.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles.
• Utilize navigation tools to plan and optimize delivery routes.
• Demonstrate attention to detail when verifying package contents and delivery addresses.
