Delivery Driver Vargas Disposal Gainesville, GA 30506 Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and various types of vehicles. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, including dump trucks, trailers, etc… Load and unload products using pallet jacks and forklifts as necessary. Navigate designated routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, ensuring client satisfaction. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required. Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding any issues encountered during deliveries. Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Experience in commercial driving preferred, with knowledge of route driving techniques. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the day. Familiarity with operating pallet jacks, forklifts, and other loading equipment is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients. Excellent time management skills and attention to detail in following delivery schedules. Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policy.
