Delivery Driver Meals On Wheels Middle Flint Council On Aging 785 Seaboard Drive, Dallas, GA 30132 Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting meals to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a strong understanding of route driving, and the ability to handle lifting. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport meals to designated locations. Follow assigned delivery routes efficiently while adhering to traffic regulations. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability. Maintain accurate records of deliveries Experience Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred but not required Familiarity with route driving and navigating local areas effectively / using a gps Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Must have been driving for at least 5 years Pre-Employment Testing Drug Screening TB Test Driving Record Back Ground Check Join us in delivering exceptional service with the meals on wheels program.
