Delivery Driver Ski Parts and Supply 2841 Crowley Rayne Hwy, Rayne, LA 70578 Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely delivery and maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service. This role requires strong driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage routes efficiently. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products using equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary. Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with company policies. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs and any required documentation. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries. Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization of goods. Handle heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper lifting techniques are used for safety. Experience Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with route driving and navigating local areas effectively is a plus. Experience operating commercial vehicles or working in a warehouse environment is advantageous. Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) safely and efficiently. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is essential.
