Job Description As a delivery driver you will be operating various tractor-trailer combinations between company terminals and customer facilities or work sites within the terminal’s geographic service area. Responsibilities Responsible for maintaining a clean and current driver’s license. Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including tractor-trailers, delivery vans, and courier vehicles. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Able to work as a Team. Communicate effectively with customers when required. Pull orders, Load and unload goods and materials using pallet jacks, forklifts, or manual methods. Unload safely when necessary. Assist in Warehouse when needed. Bend, Kneel and lift as needed to perform various tasks. Maintain proper delivery paperwork and ensure it is returned to warehouse after every delivery. Also Maintain accurate records, including mileage, and any incidents or delays. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations. Ability to safely operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Have experienced trailer knowledge – be able to pull back a 24ft Trailer. Excellent time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries.
