$12 to $18 per hour (Depending on Experience) employment type: experience level: entry level job title: Wholesale Delivery Driver In need of a driver that is ready to work with a nostalgic New Orleans family operation, Angelo Brocato’s. We are looking for an employee that has:

• an impeccable driving record
• a CDL driver’s license(not required, but recommend)
• needs little to no supervision
• ability to work a flexible schedule
• good communication skills
• the ability to manage time accordingly
• ability to lift, carry, or push product weighing at least 50 pounds
• ability to sit, stand, kneel, or squat
• adaptable to various weather conditions, including rain and other natural elements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivery Operations:

  Safely drive company vehicles to deliver products to wholesale clients, following predetermined routes.

• Loading and Unloading:

  Assist in loading and unloading products, ensuring proper handling and storage to prevent damage.

• Route Planning:

  Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and minimize delivery times.

• Customer Service:

  Interact professionally with clients, addressing any inquiries or concerns related to deliveries.

• Documentation:

  Maintain accurate delivery records, including invoices, receipts, and delivery logs.

• Vehicle Maintenance:

  Perform routine checks on the delivery vehicle, report any maintenance needs, and keep the vehicle clean and organized.

Weather Preparedness:

Adapt to various weather conditions, ensuring safety and timely deliveries despite rain or other natural elements. Traveling distances vary daily depending on the routes established. We deliver to local restaurants , grocery stores, and vendors in the Greater New Orleans areas including (but not limited to) cities such as: Mandeville, Covington, Belle Chase, Arabi. Perfect opportunity for a well-fit retiree or someone who has a strong work ethic. The hours that are fulfilled by the driver is a part-time position; roughly 20-25 hours a week. We dispatch the drivers at 8:30 am to start their route. We ask that our next candidate has a working and valid phone number so that we may be able to contact the employee when in route or in an instance that a delivery has changed logistics. The employee is a representative of our well-known brand, so the candidate must be able to exemplify a courteous and professional manner when delivering our product.
