Flexible; includes weekdays, weekends, and event-based hours as needed About Us The Brack’s Group is a small, privately owned restaurant group operating on the South Shore of Massachusetts and in Newport, Rhode Island. Known for great food and hospitality, we’re expanding beyond our brick-and-mortar restaurants with an exciting new venture— our first food truck . This is a new area for us, and we’re seeking an experienced Food Truck Operator to lead the charge. You’ll take the wheel on everything from concept development to day-to-day operations. If you’re passionate about food trucks, ready for a leadership role, and want to help build something from the ground up—we want to hear from you. Responsibilities Take a leadership role in developing and launching our food truck concept Design a menu aligned with our existing restaurant offerings Handle ordering, inventory management, prepping, and cooking Work with our team to secure all licenses and permits for operation Maintain high standards for cleanliness, food safety, and truck maintenance Operate the truck at various locations and events across MA and RI Act as point person and team lead for daily operations Assist in recruiting, training, and managing additional food truck staff Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the launch and beyond Qualifications Proven experience operating or managing a food truck Strong understanding of health permits, licensing, and mobile food regulations Culinary experience and creative menu development skills Ability to work independently and solve problems on the fly Reliable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented Strong organizational and communication skills Event or mobile catering experience is a plus Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred What We Offer Opportunity to lead a brand-new project within an established restaurant group Support from an experienced management team Competitive pay, based on experience Creative freedom in concept and menu development A chance to help shape the future of our mobile business How to
