Please feel free to come down to Wash Works, located at 169 Hancock St, Springfield, MA. We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Laundry Delivery Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting laundry efficiently while ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, adherence to schedules, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. If you have experience in commercial driving and a passion for logistics, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities Safely operate a van or box truck to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Follow assigned routes and schedules while maintaining timely deliveries. Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients and customers. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel usage. Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including organizing inventory and managing stock levels. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered during routes. Qualifications Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients. Experience with heavy lifting and physical labor; ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Previous experience in route driving or logistics is highly desirable. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
