Duties Inspect vehicle daily including radio, brakes, lights, doors, buzzers, tires, wheel chair lift/ties downs and horn, check gas, oil before departure. assist passengers to enter and leave van. assist with wheelchairs, oxygen tanks, walkers, canes Etc. Recording of accurate information on schedules: Beginning and ending miles, pick up and drop off times. cancelation and no shows. Maintaining radio contact with dispatcher at all times. Reports delays or accidents to dispatcher, Manage passengers during emergency situations. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions Ability to add and subtract Ability to apple common sense Valid drivers license, clean driving record obtained from RMV. Clean criminal offender record. Pass drug test Ability to obtain First aid, CPR, Lift securement training, defensive driving training and more.
