Warehouse/Delivery Floater Manny’s Appliances 34 Sanborn Street, Gardner, MA 01440

Duties:

Delivery Helper Responsibilities:

• Load and unload appliances from the vehicle using appropriate equipment
• Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and ensure that all items are accounted for
• Provide excellent customer service by delivering products in a timely and professional manner
• Manage back of truck: Open product, get measurements from Lead, pull all attachments for appliances and prepare to delivery; help remove old appliances with lead.
• Communication between Lead & Helper is critical
• Ability to safely and efficiently learn how to transport goods to customers while working as a team member.
• Assist in navigating the routes with the Drivers by following all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Passenger will ensure that maneuvering the truck into the customer’s driveway is clear and safe.

Warehouse Responsibilities:

• Load and unload appliances from the NEAG trucks into the Warehouse
• Move & stack in appropriate appliance family group in the warehouse for easy access to be received
• Participate in receiving products into Manny’s inventory
• Begin picking the following day’s delivery routes, to include scanning Manny’s inventory to generate customer invoices
• Prepare & stage appliances for specific trucks to be delivered to customers including parts & accessories
• Pull all products from the delivery trucks into “good stock inventory” in the warehouse

Requirements:

• Strong customer service and communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively is a must
• Previous experience as a delivery truck helper and/or warehouse associate is preferred
• High School or equivalent preferred
• Mechanical skills are preferred
• Familiarity with using equipment such as pallet jacks for loading and unloading
• Ability to safely lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading deliveries
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the strictest safety standards The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with the appropriate equipment and assistance.
