In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience in route driving and possess the skills necessary to handle heavy lifting and operate different types of vehicles, including box trucks and vans. Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations. Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries. Load and unload products, utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary. Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for tracking purposes. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during transit. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road. Experience Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems is essential. Ability to handle heavy lifting as required by the job duties. Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Knowledge of using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment is advantageous. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
